The Full Ring Menu

As discussed in The Pillar Glyphs, Soul Reaver 2 was originally designed with nine Glyphs for Raziel to obtain. A few remnants of this functionality remain in the game, and can be unlocked using Playstation 2 cheat devices. Like the Possession codes, this is a curiousity only and does not provide any real gameplay benefit.

Because most of the real functionality is missing from the game, these codes are in various stages of completion, having been abandoned when it became apparent that it would never be possible to use any of the deleted Glyph powers. The code for the NTSC retail version of the game displays the menu correctly and allows it to be rotated clockwise, but that version of the game does not contain even placeholders for the Glyph symbols. The NTSC The Air Forge Demo contains placeholder symbols, and so is the best looking of the versions although its code does not rotate the ring 100% correctly. The PAL versions of the codes have the lesser functionality of the NTSC Air Forge Demo combined with the lack of placeholder symbols in the NTSC retail game, making them the least interesting of all.

Notes:

• You must use the Master Code from Codes (Playstation 2 Cheat Device) in order for these codes to work.
• These codes are only for the Action Replay and GameShark 2. Codebreaker 2 versions of these codes are available on the CMGSCCC website. Users of other cheat devices will need to use kpdavatar's code converter.
• Attemping to use any of the Glyphs will freeze the game.

As with any cheat device codes, please be aware that using these can result in problems with gameplay. Do not save your game unless you're willing to accept the potential consequence of having to start over from the beginning.
