Salvation, Revelation, Deceit

This is a very early video preview of Soul Reaver. Like most of the promotional videos its filename is "kain.str", so I have nicknamed it "Salvation, Revelation, Deceit" after the dialogue near its end.

This preview contains more references to deleted Soul Reaver material than any other single source:

• The Water Reaver Forge (see The Elemental Reaver Forges) makes a brief appearance.
• Raziel is seen devouring a humanoid-shaped soul (a feature which would not make it into a production Kain game until Defiance).
• What appears to be another Reaver Forge in the form of the Water Glyph area minus its statue, with a column of black smoke seeming to indicate that it has already been made use of.
• An early version of Melchiah's chamber featuring candelabras.

A different actor performs Raziel's dialogue in this video, but he was never intended to appear in the final game.
