This demo version of Akuji was graciously contributed by Scott Friedman. It was given to him by an Eidos rep, and is clearly a limited-run disc. The game itself is identical (as far as I can tell) to the retail version of Akuji, and also includes The Lighthouse Demo.

This demo disc was given away by Eidos at the 1998 E3. This is the only US disc I've ever seen which includes the long version of the "KainDemo" Soul Reaver video. It also includes demos of Warzone 2100, Gex 3, Akuji the Heartless, Ninja, Tomb Raider III, and Fighting Force.

This disc contains the Salvation, Revelation, Deceit preview video of Soul Reaver. It is unclear if it is the first Playstation demo disc that Eidos released or simply unnumbered. It refers to Soul Reaver as "Legacy of Kain 2".

This is another unnumbered Eidos demo disc. It was created after the previous one, as its Sony release code is higher (SLUS-90051 versus SLUS-90040). It contains the "Sanctus Christus" preview video of Soul Reaver.

Akuji is kind of a proto-Soul Reaver. It is also based on the Gex Engine, and its story involves a character who is cast down and seeks revenge. Several team members went on to work on Soul Reaver. The disc also includes The Lighthouse Demo of Soul Reaver.

The Eidos Collector's Edition was a re-release of Blood Omen, Soul Reaver, and Fighting Force (another Eidos game) in a single package for US$30. I believe it was only available in the US. The games are identical to their original releases, including the Activision logo during the opening sequence of Blood Omen.

Gex is an action/comedy series by Crystal Dynamics which stars a talkative gecko as a super-agent. It includes a very early advertisement for Blood Omen.

This is the "Greatest Hits" US release of Soul Reaver for the Playstation. Except for the green stripe and logo on the packaging, it is identical to the original release.

This is the original UK release of Soul Reaver for the Playstation. It doesn't show up in the photographs (obviously), but the cover is a very nice lenticular image which gives the appearance of a 3D holograph as you move it from side to side (although it is not a true holograph). Sideways motion also makes the room Raziel is in shift from the material plane to the spectral plane. The case (like most UK games) is twice the thickness of a regular CD case.

Eidos' Ricochet is similar to Sony's Greatest Hits program in the US. This is a re-release of the original UK disc, but with a normal printed cover instead of a lenticular image.

Tomb Raider is Eidos' flagship franchise. This version of the second episode includes the Fire Glyph demo of Soul Reaver.
