Years ago, CMX of the CMGSCCC developed some great codes for Blood Omen when used in conjunction with a cheat device. Those original codes are reproduced here for archival purposes. Since then, their page for the game has had a number of other user-submitted codes added, so it's worth checking out the interesting hacks that have been created.

The "modifier" codes allow the contents of various inventory slots to be altered. For example, to put Malek's Helmet in slot 1, the code would be 300E8660 0018. Apparently it is possible to put e.g. Malek's Helmet in one of the spell slots, as the item/spell/weapon/armour IDs do not overlap. This will probably not lead to anything useful.

As with any cheat device codes, please be aware that using these can result in problems with gameplay. Do not save your game unless you're willing to accept the potential consequence of having to start over from the beginning.

Most of the effects of these codes can be duplicated in the PC version of the game using Andrew Fradley's Blood Omen Trainer.

I am unaware of PAL versions of these codes at this time. Sorry, European and Australian gamers.
