The most recent episode in the Kain series, Defiance rescued many deleted elements of previous games from the cutting room floor, while at the same time creating its own lost chapters.

	Deleted Pillar Reaver Upgrades
	Five additional enhancements believed to have been intended for Kain to discover.

	A Shield for Raziel
	Further distinguishing his fighting style from that of Kain, Raziel would have found a shield to use in combat.

	The Artifact 1a Room
	A debugging room which contains every artifact in the game.

	Avernus Cathedral Deleted Areas
	Avernus was initially designed as a much larger level.

	The Eldergod 5a Room
	A short training area for wall climbing which was removed from Raziel's first chapter

	The citadel built around Kain's throne and the ruined Pillars of Nosgoth in the Soul Reaver era.

	A planned section of Defiance which would have bridged the continuity of the two Blood Omen games.

	A Return to the Soul Reaver Era
	This unproduced final chapter would have featured Kain returning to the ruined Nosgoth depicted in the first Soul Reaver game.
