The Secret Passage - Soul Reaver - Legacy of Kain: The Lost Worlds

The Secret Passage

This area was discovered by accident while experimenting with the player Z-position control described in the how-to guide 'Hack Soul Reaver for the PC'. It is located above the Glyph energy powerup room in Melchiah's territory which is unlocked with the Soul Reaver.

Unlike nearly every other room in the game, this one has a true roof. The appearance of the area and layout resemble a tunnel between Melchiah's territory and the Silenced Cathedral, much like the other hidden inter-area passages in the game, but this seems to be a coincidence. The ability to view the entire world map, provided by the Soul Reaver to Blender Conversion Toolchain, makes it clear that a connection Melchiah's territory and Zephon's is extremely unlikely.

This room is positioned correctly to connect Melchiah's territory with the Citadel in a straight line, but this may also be a coincidence. No such connection exists in any known version of the game.
