Through the thick mists of the sea, the Imperial Sarafan Destroyer sailed blindly North, even Kain’s superior eyesight gave the mock crew of the stolen ship no advantages. They were attempting to head back to Nosgoth. Kain stood tall gazing out of the front window of the bridge, as behind him humans ran to and fro, trying to make enough of the ship’s glyph systems function to get them home. They tried to be discrete, aware that unpleasant consequences awaited he who interrupted their saviour’s meditations. Kain thought, for a second, he saw something in the grey blur beyond the window. A shadow, maybe? And again, another one, and another one, dark shadows were coming from the sea’s horizon. A ship? No, ships. Many many ships. It took only a few seconds for them to become fully visible. Twenty Imperial Sarafan Destroyers, and in the middle of them the massive metal floating citadel that was the Super Sarafan Destroyer. Lowering his mouth to the speaking tube beneath the window, the vampire lord made his announcement. “Battle Stations.”
